It’s time to enact a solid, successful plan that will allow you to plan your year and design your own success.
As your doctor, I can only go so far. I can recommend exercise routines, healthy food, and best practices for stress reduction—but if you are unwilling to add your intention, energy, and action to the plan, your life will remain the same.
This is what I call Personal Awareness Medicine. Each of us has a responsibility to play an active role in our health and well being. When we rely on outside forces and not on ourselves, we aren't able to control the outcome. Each one of us has to get over the denial and realize the cause and effect of our own health.
There is a very clear trajectory of cause and effect in our health - it is one of the most predictable laws in the Universe. For example, if you routinely participate in unhealthy activities in your life, like smoking, eating poorly, or not exercising, eventually this will cause a predictable outcome.
So, are you going to change the trajectory in your life?

It’s the cause and effect of over 10 years of resolutions unmet.
What is the cost of continuing down this path, year after year after year?
Be honest with yourself. What behaviors, attitudes and actions are you participating in today, and where are they taking you? And most importantly, is there where you want to be headed?
Resolutions are designed to change course – if you have 10 years of unmet resolutions, you are not doing much to change your course.
