Versailles Medical Center was started in 1959 with Dr. John Houser and Dr. Delbert Blickenstaff. In 1969 Dr. Charles Platt joined the practice and served as the local family physician until he retired after 39 years. Dr. Bobby Lenox was an active Physician Partner from the years 1996-2008 where he then moved to Ansonia Medical Center and continues to practice medicine there. Julia Bowlin M.D., Dr. Platt's daughter, was born and raised in Versailles, Ohio and then joined the medical practice in the year 2000 where she continues to practice presently. Dr. Julia Bowlin's medical scope of practice is varied and encompasses the medical care of all ages, allergy immunotherapy, musculoskeletal pain management, laser hair and vein reduction, and nursing home care for the elderly.
